Avantages pratiques : la déportation de la sauvegarde serait plus effective et ça m'éviterai de tirer un câble vers mon sous-sol. ;-)</p>

(Pas encore bu assez de café pour googler...) :-) Je ne connais que opennas ou qq chose comme ça. Cela dit, vu les prix des Synology... (le premier modèle est suffisant pour mes besoins). C'est un peu complexe pour moi, opennas. Enfin je crois, ça fait 3-4 ans que je n'ai pas regardé ça. Il y a aussi la question de l'encombrement.</p>

Bien suffisant. On peut toujours le démonter et le mettre dans une boîte en plastique ventilée... Parce que sinon, il chauffe un max ! Et faudra trouver une astuce pour lui faire faire du raid... ;-)</p>

<p style=" margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:0px; margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px; -qt-block-indent:0; text-indent:0px; -qt-user-state:0;">J'ai (pour le moment) décidé de me passer de raid parce que ma sauvegarde serait en deux "bonds" : d'abord un dd dans la machine qui recevra les "rsnapshots" et ensuite ce même dd sera sauvegardé sur le nas hors-les-murs. Ça fait deux copies pour faire face au premier risque qui est la panne de dd, donc pas besoin de miroir imho. Je crois aussi me souvenir qu'il est impossible de le déporter rsnapshot sur le nas. On peut tout au plus le monter le disque - ou une partition du nas en NFS sur la machine principale.</p>
