Celui là ne se servait pas de Macs, mais d'OS exotiques après une décenie de NT (jamais de pannes...). Vers la fin ils achetaient leurs application métier OS compris.</p>

Il n'administrait pas une machine, mais soit des super bécanes (autrefois), soit des grappes de serveurs, soit des centaines de postes... Tout Rhin et Moselle, même après être passés dans le giron d'AGF et Allianz. Vers la fin, comme beaucoup de services ont été tranférés en RP et qu'il a voulu rester ici, il a géré des antennes de vente "service clé en main" pour de la bancassurance avec des dizaines de postes paperless, temps d'indisponiblité maxi 15 minutes. Je ne pense pas que la ram ait jamais été leur problème majeur...</p>

Il avait trente ans d'expérience en petits et (très) gros systèmes. Il a su garder son poste plusieurs années après qu'ils aient été rachetés par Allianz. En conséquence je ne peux pas mettre sa parole en doute.</p>

<p style=" margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:0px; margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px; -qt-block-indent:0; text-indent:0px; -qt-user-state:0;">J'ai travaillé un temps dans une raffinerie de pétrole, auprès de la centrale de contrôle. On aurait eu l'air fin de tenter de surveiller des centaines de vannes et de pompes, de températures etc sans systèmes qui permettent de représenter graphiquement les choses ! Je suis sûr que le pb est le même pour des grappes de serveurs ou de gros réseaux d'entreprises. </p>

<p style=" margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:0px; margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px; -qt-block-indent:0; text-indent:0px; -qt-user-state:0;">Pour des PME comme celle de Pierre, elles utiliseront longtemps encore des postes de travail indépendants - donc rien à gérer sauf le réseau - et ne centralisent généralement que des données voire un CRM. Un NAS like costaud pourrait donc longtemps suffire, lequel se gère aussi très bien dans une interface graphique. En plus, si on a fait ce qu'il faut pour la fiabilité, on y touche une fois par an, au serveur, pour y faire la poussière et de temps en temps lorsqu'on change d'échelle donc de matos... Le reste du temps c'est de la gestion d'utilisateurs etc.</p>
